Yoga has been used for thousands of years to bring a healthy balance to mind, body, and spirit. Hatha (or Iyengar) Yoga is a style that emphasizes safe stretching, toning, and tension relief through simple step-by-step postures and breathing. The progressive postures are adjusted to meet your needs in order to build strength and flexibility while bringing peace to your mind.

Using a gentle and respectful approach, Jen Woods helps you focus on listening to your physical body rather than pushing you to achieve a certain result. Her teaching is adaptable to all levels, from beginner to the advanced practitioner.

When and Where

Iyengar Yoga Classes are held twice weekly:

  • Monday evenings at 6:30pm at the Adawehi Healing Center classroom
  • Wednesday mornings at 9:00am at the Main Community Building
