Community Openings

Are you tired of trying to do spiritual growth by yourself? And are you hungering to bring yourself in ways that facilitate change and healing on the planet? Well, Adawehi may be the answer for you.

The Adawehi community is located on 125 acres in the pastoral foothills of Western North Carolina. It is a wonderland with beautiful trees, walking trails, a garden and two greenhouses. There is an organic grocery store, a work-out facility, and eight healing practitioners. In other words, Adawehi is a place where you can be supported inside and out.

Adawehi has been a community for 24 years. During that time, we discovered five structures which tremendously facilitate the necessary combination of spiritual growth and spiritual service. They are

1. meditating together with your housemates,
2. attending spiritual growth classes,
3. caring for the land,
4. sharing feelings, ideas, and heart energies, and
5. playing together.

In order to fully step into this new life adventure, we have found it helps to leave behind attachments that limit you from moving forward. However, you will need to bring with you a commitment to your heart, openness to a new lifestyle, as well as your current job or job skills so you can generate an income.

We have beautifully furnished rooms available for rent in our community homes where you will feel held and loved for who you are.
