When
We invite you to walk the labyrinth during daylight hours.
The 7-circuit labyrinth at Adawehi is a place for reflection, sacredness, and beauty.
We invite you to walk the labyrinth during daylight hours.
It is a place of abundant serenity, so we ask that you walk in silence and refrain from bringing food, beverages, or pets to the labyrinth area.
You’ll find the labyrinth along the hiking trail in Adawehi’s Stewardship Forest.
As part of the Dedication Ceremony, Adawehi Community member, Diane Koehler, gifted us with this sacred poem.
Our labyrinth lives in the heart of the forest
where magic abounds.
Its sacred harmony with the earth
invites us to join.
The path appears to be flat,
but nay, it spirals upwards.
Our journey inward matches the rhythm
of the hawks’ flight just above the treetops.
Their red feathers glisten in the sun as they circle and call:
Higher. Higher. Come, join us!
So too, at our feet are the little bitty toads
who live among the rocks and stones.
They also call to us: be simple, be grounded, be alive.
Sacredness is anchored here.
Listen, as we walk. Listen inward.
With each step and each breath
Feel the expansion of light.
Know the truth of Our Soul.
United in Sacredness
with all who walk
in harmony with the earth,
Bless, and be blessed.
Be the Sacred Rainbow of our Light.
Amen
