Louise incorporates a variety of massage techniques in her practice that she has developed in her years of providing natural healing massages including:
The most relaxing of Louise’s massages is the Swedish Hot Stone Massage. This massage lasts an average of 90 minutes during which hot stones are placed on the body or are used to massage the muscles.
Hot Stone Massage brings a much deeper level of relaxation and release of tension and toxins with less soreness and pain than any other massage technique. Initially, in regular massage, the muscles may resist the therapist’s touch and pressure. In Hot Stone Massage, the heat brings on instant Openness and Release. This allows the therapist to go in much deeper with very little effort and discomfort.
Swedish Hot Stone Massage is good alternative healing choice for a person who lives under a lot of tension, day in and day out.
Getting a massage only once or twice a year or only when hurt limits the full potential of the value of massage. With regular massages, the benefits increase over time to facilitate natural healing.
For over 15 years, Louise Hillenbrand, a graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage, has been supporting the natural healing of her clients by creating an environment of Safety, Nurturing, Healing, and Acceptance. She is a NC Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT, NC License #1608) and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Louise applies her knowledge that gentle techniques can persuade a muscle to relax quickly and easily.
Louise Hillenbrand is an independent practitioner not in the employ of the Adawehi Healing Center.
